SC#19 Millenium Tower

Millenium tower on Gardosh (old hill in Zemun) started its life in 1896; in the central part of the square
fort, the Hungarian authorities erected a memorial (one of four identical, for every cardinal directions
of their state borders at that time)in the form of a tower (36m high) to mark the millenium (1000 yrs.)
of their sovereignty and a long belonging of these regions to Hungary. Now waits for restoration work
